The bakery and tea room at Wadena's Miracle Mansion closed Thursday.
Faced with a unaffordably high balloon payment on her contract for deed, owner Carol Carroll was unable to come to agreement with property owner Ted Merickel, so she decided to close up the shop she has operated since 2003.
"I'm just so thankful for all the people that I've been blessed by here in Wadena," Carroll said Friday. "It was not what I wanted, but we will relocate."
Carroll, a non-denominational minister, said she's been praying about the decision and determined moving on is a part of God's plan. "We have a season for everything."
