On Jan. 7 at 3:46 p.m., the Wadena County Sheriff's Office received a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a school bus on Oink Joint Road in Wadena Township.
Deputies arrived on scene and found a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue had rear ended a school bus from the Wadena-Deer Creek school district. There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash.
The driver of the bus stated he was slowing down and noticed the car was sliding on the ice behind him and was unable to stop. Nobody was injured in the crash.
The Wadena County Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Verndale Police Department, Verndale First Responders and Tri-County Ambulance.
