A man injured during the construction of a hog barn west of Sebeka was airlifted from the scene Wednesday afternoon.
The 18-year-old from Long Prairie, who was not named, was working on a shed near the hog barn, when a gust of wind knocked a 20-foot section of wall on top of him, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office. The man was trapped underneath until crew members were able to pull him out. He was conscious, alert and received non-life threatening injuries, but was airlifted to St. Cloud, according to the sheriff's office.
The incident happened at the construction site off Hwy 75, north of 440th Street in Blowers Township.
Sebeka Fire and Rescue was on scene along with Otter Tail County Sheriff staff and Life Link III.
