Area crashes: Menahga, Bertha crashes reported over weekend
A two-vehicle crash in Menahga sent two people to an area hospital Saturday, according to a Minnesota State patrol report.
A 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by Tate L. Usher, 16, of Park Rapids was traveling north just before noon, Saturday, Dec. 15 on Hwy 71 in Menahga. Usher stopped to make a left turn and was rear ended by a 2010 Chevrolet Express driven by Stacy L. Aho, 41, of Menahga.
Usher and his passenger Maria Guadalupe Elmore, 27, of Hawick, were both taken to Park Rapids Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Aho was not injured.
All involved were wearing seat belts and no alcohol was involved in the crash, according to the state patrol release.
Bertha injury crash
The State Patrol is investigating an injury crash that occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 in Bertha at Hwy 71 and West Main Street. According to the state patrol two vehicles were involved and those involved had non-life threatening injuries. No names was released as of Monday morning.
