Accident
A two-car accident occurred at approximately 1:30 Tuesday at the junction of State Highway 29 and County Highway 75 one mile west of Wadena in Otter Tail County. Four people were transported to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena as a result of the accident. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

Five people, including one infant, were hurt in a two-vehicle crash west of Wadena Tuesday afternoon around 1:30 p.m.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, one vehicle was stopped at a stop sign and attempted to cross Minnesota Highway 29 on Otter Tail County Road 75 when it struck a second vehicle that was eastbound on 29.

Steve B. Cain, 55, of Hewitt, was identified as the driver of the first vehicle, a 1997 Plymouth Neon. Cortney R. Schwartz, 19, of Vining, was driving the eastbound car, a 1996 Buick Century. With her were Keith W. Tentler, 18, of Henning, Jennifer M. Tentler, 20, of Henning, and an infant who was not named in the patrol's report. All five were taken by ambulance and treated and released at Tri-County Hospital.

The Wadena Police Department and Wadena County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
