A 91-year-old woman died in a house fire Tuesday in northern Wadena County.
Evelyn Edith Anderson of rural Menahga was found deceased in her home just after noon on Dec. 13, the Wadena County Sheriff's Office said.
Menahga firefighters were called to the structure fire in Section 1 of Blueberry Township, just south of Twin Lakes. The fire was reported by neighbors around noon, the sheriff's office said.
No foul play is suspected in the fire, but the Wadena County Sheriff's Office and State Fire Marshal's office are investigating. Menahga first responders and the Menahga Police Department also responded to the scene, as did Wevley Funeral Home.
