Weekly crime report - Nov. 2 edition

Oct. 22

• Cole Michael Granda, 22, of New Hope, was arrested on a Wadena County warrant.

Oct. 23

• Ryan Christopher Freeman, 33, of Wadena, was stopped and issued a citation for driving after revocation and fail to stop at a stop sign.

Oct. 26

• Brandon James Klemek, 28, of Bertha, was issued a citation for an expired vehicle registration.

Oct. 27

• The Wadena City Attorney issued a criminal complaint, signed by the Wadena Police Department, charging Michael Ray Andreoff, 28, of Sebeka with theft. Andreoff presented an NSF check to a local business.

The Wadena Police Department answered 205 calls for service these past two weeks.

Public Service Announcement

In the past few weeks, the Wadena Police Department has received a few calls from residents that unknown person(s) are trying to gain entry into their homes, garages and back yards through fences. A couple residents were home and called the police; but the suspect(s) were gone and we were unable to locate them later. Another resident had items stolen from inside their garage. These have primarily been in the SW and SE sides of Wadena.

We take this very seriously, and hope you do as well. Please, help yourselves and your neighbors, be vigilant in reporting anything suspicious and lock your doors, including your vehicles.
