The annual Wadena County 4-H Fruit Sales are well underway and local 4-H Clubs will be taking fruit orders until Feb. 20, with fruit delivered the week of March 22. The fruit sales are a main fundraiser for the county's 4-H clubs, with funds helping to provide educational learning opportunities for area youth. To order fruit, contact a local Wadena County 4-H club, or call the Wadena County Extension office at (218) 631-7623.
4-H Winter Fun Project Day will be held on President's Day, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15 at the United Methodist Church in Sebeka. This fun event is open to all children, 4-H members and non-members, ages K-6 grade and is a good opportunity to see just a few of the projects that 4-H has to offer. Some of the project areas include scrapbooking, wild game feeder construction, cooking, dog sledding, a special session for K-third-graders and more. To register, call the Wadena County Extension office at (218) 631-7623 before Feb 9.
