The Wadena Boxing Club will host a seven-team card at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Wadena Armory.
Joining Wadena on the card will be teams from Brainerd, Nevis, Duluth, Fergus Falls, Leech Lake, Minneapolis and Hinckley.
Ben Ott (205) of Nevis, who fights under the Wadena banner, was set for the main event, but suffered an injury in practice and was a late scratch. Instead a double main event will see Wadena's Trent Petro battle Tyler Hultin of Fergus Falls and Wadena's TJ Steward take on Tmour Kubaibergenow of Duluth. Other Wadena boxers will include Cody McManigle, Justin Isaacson, Bobby Wynn, Leon Albrecht, Matt Green, Jeremy Hoemberg, Albert Boldt and Taylor Geiser.
The Region IV Championships will be held Friday and Saturday, April 3-4, at the Wadena Armory.
