Wadena-Deer Creek High School's drama department will present a public performance of their one-act play "Caution: Politricks" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21 at Wadena Memorial Auditorium. Admission is free.
Director Jay Patterson describes this year's play as humorous, very political and thought-provoking.
"There's a big argument and it's over a spot on the wall," Patterson said. "Some people see the spot one way and others see it another way."
The cast includes: Michael Schmidt, Liz Peterson, Hope Dumpprope, Grace Mertens, Hope Norenberg, Logan Taggart, Taylor Dirks, Beth Schmitz, Esther Berger, Stephen Spilman, Dallas Doll, Devyn Norenberg, Emma Mehl, Maddie Olson, Elliot Doyle, Gabriel Berger, Siobhane Touchette, Jasmyn Wood and Nancy Medina. Technical person is Cami Taggart.
The public performance serves as a warm-up for subsections on Saturday, Jan. 23 at New York Mills. Each play is limited to 35 minutes.
