Vinz is a poet, teacher, and publisher. His other books include "Long Distance," "Permanent Record," and "The Work is All."
Vinz was the longtime editor of Dacotah Territory , a small press that published 17 issues and 15 chapbooks from 1971 to 1981. In 2014, he was honored with the Kay Sexton Award. He lives in Moorhead, Minn.
