Free at the Fair: Check out Pier Country Revue this Saturday and Sunday

Some things in life are free, at least to you at the Wadena County Fair.

WADENA — There are plenty of ways to spend your dollar at the Wadena County Fair but there are even more ways to have a great time without pulling out that wallet as events are underway.

At the fee stage

A new band to the Wadena County Fair this year, Pier Country Revue, will be performing at the Free Stage (next to building #3-Home & Hobbies and the Little Red School House), scheduled for two days, Saturday, June 25th, and Sunday, June 26th.
On Saturday, June 25th, Pier Country Revue, will perform their first set at 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., featuring a tribute to 50's/60's Classic Rock, performing songs by the Everly Bros, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent.
Their second set, 1 - 1:45 p.m., will feature a tribute to The Beatles.
Their third and final set of the day will be at 3 to 3:45 p.m. (to allow attendees to attend the 2 p.m. Bingo) will feature a tribute to 70's Pop/Country Rock, performing a variety of songs from such artists as The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, James Taylor....and others.
On Sunday, June 26, Pier Country Revue will perform from noon to 2 p.m., performing a mix of Classic Country, 90's Country, and a few Bluegrass tunes thrown in as well. Songs from legendary artists: Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, Buck Owens, Alan Jackson, Ray Price....are on the menu.
Bring a lawn chair and listen to a great variety of family friendly tunes.
