Ronald McDonald ride cruises June 14
The 13th annual Ronald McDonald motorcycle ride is set for Saturday, June 14 at the VFW on Hwy. 10 in New York Mills. The ride begins at 12 noon with registration from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The ride will return to the VFW for door prizes, auction, raffle and live music.

Plant sale slated for June 7
Sebeka United Methodist Church will be holding a plant sale on Saturday, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the church. There will be houseplants, perennials, annuals and other plants available for purchase.

Library kicks off 2014 summer reading program June 2
The Wadena City Library is holding registration for Paws to Read Beginning the week of June 2. Start logging reading time on June 9.
Join the library this summer for the annual summer reading program for pre-kindergarten through high school, which runs through the end of July. Each reader who finishes the program will be entered into the grand prize drawing held at the end of the summer.
