Minnesotan musician Robin Anders will be demonstrating and discussing several different drums and percussion instruments from many cultures on Feb. 26 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Memorial Auditorium. Anders has toured in these countries performing and teaching and providing workshops for over 45 years. This program ends with an audience participation segment where everyone is invited to play together on percussion instruments and experience the drums first hand. The show is open to the public.
This free Legacy Program is funded in part or in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on Nov. 4, 2008 which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota's arts and cultural heritage.
