NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held before the Wadena City Planning Commission on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., Council Chambers, City Administrative Center, 222 2nd Street SE, on the proposed setting of a Zoning district for the parcel of land located along the west edge of Wadena city limits, in Section 12, Township 134, Range 36, Part of Registered Land Survey #21 (Tract E), within Compton Township of Otter Tail County.
The Zoning district must be set in order for a possible annexation of this property into the City of Wadena. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive testimony on the proposed setting of the Zoning district for the annexation of land outside but adjoining to the City of Wadena. The meeting will begin at 5 pm in the City Council Chambers.
If you wish to comment on the issue, you may do so by attending the public hearing or by providing written comment to the Planning Commission by January 28, 2020. Written comments may be delivered in person to the Zoning Office, mailed to City of Wadena – Zoning Office at PO Box 30, emailed to zoning@wadena.org, or faxed to 218-631-7709.
