NOTICE TO BIDDERS PRINTING & PUBLISHING Sealed bids will be received and opened publicly by the Wadena County auditor/Treasurer in the City of Wadena Council Chambers, 222 2nd St. SE, Wadena, Minnesota at 9:05 a.m. on January 4th, 2022, for the following: 1) Separate sealed bids will be received for the publication of the Delinquent Tax Notice and list of the County of Wadena as provided in Minnesota Statutes 279.07-279.09, the Proceedings of the County Board as provided in Minnesota Statutes 375.12 and any and all other legal notices and publications of the County of Wadena for the year of 2021. 2) Separate sealed bids will be received for the printing of the first and second publications of the Annual Financial Statement of Wadena County as provided in Minnesota Statutes 375.17. Bidders must stipulate their lowest classified rate paid by commercial users for the comparable space including cash discounts, multiple insertion discounts and similar benefits extended to regular customers, their maximum rate allowable by law and the rates which will actually be charged based on 6 point Helvetica/auto leading. A second bidding option may be submitted indicating the rates which will actually be charged based on 8 point Helvetica/auto leading. Bidders are asked to set up and submit this Notice as a sample publication, using the type styles and sized proposed along with a typical charge for the same. Maximum rates are governed by Minnesota Statutes 331A.06. Bidders are asked to include the number of 2021 subscribers of their newspaper. The Wadena County Board will review the bids results and award the bid at, 10:00 am, January 4th, 2022, during their Regular Board Meeting in the City of Wadena Council Chambers, 222 2nd St. SE, Wadena, Minnesota. The County Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities therein and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interests of the County will be best served thereby.
