NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the “Council”) of the City of Wadena, Wadena County Minnesota, will hold a hearing on August 31st, 2021, at 5:30 p.m., at the Maslowski Wellness & Research Center gymnasium, Wadena, MN 56482. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the application for a proposed 15 year tax abatement estimated to be $1,508,295 total abatement of assessment for the city tax levy portion, by the City of Wadena on behalf of Tri-County Health Care (TCHC). The proposed tax abatement would be on the newly constructed hospital and clinic located at 421 11th Street NW, Wadena, MN and if approved, would provide TCHC the corresponding benefits of tax abatement. Citizen inquiries and participation regarding the project is encouraged. Written or oral public comments will be considered. You may submit written comment to David Evans, Interim City Administrator, PO Box 30 Wadena MN 56482, or in person at 222 2nd Street SE Wadena, MN; or provide comment in person at the Public Hearing at the time and location first noted.
