REMOVAL BID FOR FUTURE COUNTY PARKING LOT
WADENA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the County Engineer at the Wadena County Highway Department located at 221 Harry Rich Drive, Wadena, Minnesota until November 3, 2020 at 1:00 pm and will be publicly opened and read at said time and place by representatives of Wadena County. Said proposals are for the purchase and removal of two buildings, including all permitting costs ($40 permit for moving a building in the City of Wadena), appropriate permit for a new basement or foundation and incidental costs such as Traffic Control, Police Patrol and debris cleanup that may be incurred for the removal and relocating of buildings, etc. are the responsibility of the bidder.

414 1st Street SW, Wadena, MN 56482
Bids shall be submitted on the Proposal Forms provided in accordance with the Contract Documents and Specifications as prepared by the County Coordinator/Engineer and are available at the Wadena County Highway Department, 221 Harry Rich Drive, Wadena, MN 56482.
The set viewing times for the property are at 1:00 pm or 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, as an opportunity to view the inside of the buildings. Interested bidders will meet at 414 1st Street SW, Wadena, MN 56482. Officials representing Wadena County will oversee this viewing.
Bids will only be accepted from individuals or contractors who provide Bidding Documents as specified above. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Wadena County and accompanied by $1,000 cashier’s check, as warranty, and made payable to the Wadena County Auditor/Treasurer. The successful bidder’s check will be deposited and held for payment and is nonrefundable. If any bid is less than the amount of the $1,000, the excess amount will be refunded to the bidder once the buildings have been removed. The unsuccessful bidders will have their checks returned.
Successful bidder will have 30 calendar days from the date of written Notice of Successful Bidder is issued by Wadena County. No buildings will be removed until the appropriate permits have been received and Wadena County has issued a Bill of Sale. Successful bidder will forfeit their $1,000 deposit once the 30 calendar days have passed at which time Wadena County will provide for demolition of the buildings.
