Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids will be received by the City of Wadena until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19th, 2020, at the Wadena City Hall, 222 2nd Street SE, Wadena, MN 56482, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of 2020 Runway 03-21 Turf Crosswind Construction. Major components of the Work include Site Grading, Aggregate Turf Pavement, Storm Sewer, Pavement Patching, Pavement Marking, Minor Airfield Signage, Seeding and Site Restoration.
No in-person Bid Opening will be conducted. After submitting the bid, bidders will be asked to leave City Hall. The bid opening will be conducted via teleconference at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2020. Call-in number: +1 (646) 749-3122, Access Code: 685-653-477
Bids shall be on the form provided for that purpose and according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH ) dated May 29th , 2020.

A pre-Bid conference will not be held.
Bid security in the amount of 5% percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3.
This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with The State of Minnesota.
Bids shall be directed to the City Administrator, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, “BID FOR 2020 RUNWAY 03-21 TURF CROSSWIND CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, WADENA, MINNESOTA.”
The City of Wadena reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City of Wadena.
