Kirstan Finn, a junior at Wadena-Deer Creek School, has advanced to the state MMTA (Minnesota Music Teachers Association) competition. She participated in the district contest jan. 21 in Alexandria.
Finn, the daughter of Jodee and Mike Finn, performed "Storm Chasers" by Olson. The state competition will be held March 11-12 in the Ferguson Hall at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Finn is the piano student of Alice Gronlund, Sebeka.
