Wadena's Biggest Loser Contest is back

It has been four years since the Wadena Evangelical Church, in conjunction with theWadena Community Center held Wadena's Biggest Loser contest. Pastor Jeff Heisler said there has been a lot of interest from the community and it is time to do it again.

Typically, they get anywhere from 60 to 90 people who participate who all have a chance to win cash prizes. According to Pastor Jeff, people do this for themselves, regardless of the money. It is a way for them to be accountable in their weight loss efforts. Registration is open now through Saturday, Jan. 4.

For more information, stop by the church located at 419 2nd St. NE in Wadena. Or find Wadena's Biggest Loser link by going to the Wadena Pioneer Journal's website - or the Wadena Pioneer Journal's Facebook page.
