Womenade plans area open houses

Womenade, a local fundraising program which aims to make a difference in the lives of children in Wadena-Deer Creek, Perham-Dent and New York Mills schools, has announced a series of open house gatherings.

Womenade, a local fundraising program which aims to make a difference in the lives of children in Wadena-Deer Creek, Perham-Dent and New York Mills schools, has announced a series of open house gatherings.

The New York Mills event will be from 9:30-11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28 at the New York Mills Creamery.

The Perham event will be from 9:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29 at the Wild Goose.

In Wadena, the gathering will be from 9:30-11 a.m. on Thursday, July 30 at the Cyber Cafe.

The donations are used in schools for children with real needs, and the donations have been used quietly and discreetly.
