Wadena Evangelical Church is holding a 100 year celebration on Saturday, July 25 at Sunnybrook Park in the Knights of Columbus shelter.
The festivities start at noon with a coin hunt for kids up to 10 years old. A scavenger hunt will get underway at 12:30 p.m., and a cake walk will start at 1 p.m. At 2 p.m., a meal will be served, followed by lawn chair races at 3 p.m. and bingo at 3:30 p.m. Water wars will be at 4:30 p.m., and a pie-eating contest for those over 16 will be at 5 p.m. The volleyball challenge, pitting the youth versus the elder board, will start at 6 p.m.
All day, there will be a duck pond, jump station, ring toss, cotton candy and popcorn.
