The 2015 Wadena County Fair brings back some favorite entertainment while adding a day to the fair.
The 122nd annual fair starts Wednesday, June 24 and ends Sunday, June 28.
Live bands will play for three nights of the fair this year. "The Farmer's Daughters" play Thursday, June 25, "Lost Highway" performs Friday, June 26 and "Switch" will play Saturday, June 27.
Midwest Rides will provide carnival rides at this summer's fair. 4-H project displays, livestock events, vendors, concessions and more will be featured as well.
A Original Artist DJ performs at 6 p.m. Wednesday, along with a talent contest. A teen dance follows.

Major events include Bulls & Barrels, which starts at 7 p.m. both Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26. The popular truck and tractor pull returns Saturday, June 27 with the out of field starting at 4 p.m. and modifieds at 6 p.m.
The Western Saddle Club Association will have a show Sunday, June 28. And the pig races will return this year with a show at 1 p.m. Gary Dauer, renowned pig trainer, brings the pig races from the Leader area, which has had the races for many years.
Barnyard Olympics are Saturday, June 27 after the pride auction at 4 p.m. Sign up as two-person teams to participate in the timed ag-related events at the fair office. Call Gene Roller at (218) 924-4187 for more information.
The FFA-sponsored kids pedal pull is at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27. It is sanctioned by the Minnesota Pedal Pullers Association and first, second and third places will go to state competition. It is for kids ages three to nine years old.
Admission to the Wadena County Fair is free, but the carnival rides and grandstand events cost extra.
