WADENA — The Wadena-Deer Creek high school and elementary have had their pep fests and excitement is peaking for the culmination of 2022 Homecoming activities to start Friday.
Friday kicks off with a 2-hour late start leading into the homecoming coronation at 10:15 a.m. in the Middle/High School Gym.
The Wolverine pride spills into the streets at 2 p.m. as the parade begins.
All the WDC fans should head on over to the the football field for "smash burgers" by the Wadena Lions before the kickoff as the Wolverines take on Warroad at 7 p.m.
A homecoming dance begins for students at 9 p.m. in the WDC FEMA gym.
