VERNDALE — Verndale Days 2022 was July 29 and 30, and with it came fun and games across the city.

A crowd of friends gathered to celebrate the life of Michael and Paula Black, who died in a house fire a year ago. They named their gathering the "Balooza Palooza" after their friend Michael, who many called Baloo.
