With the message of God bless America, the world and Wadena, Mayor George Deiss and his wife Julie sang, "God Bless America" on April 11 at 5 p.m. George posted the idea on Facebook on April 8 as a way to unite the Wadena community during the coronavirus. He said many people responded that they planned to sing at this time as well.
