The Wadena United Methodist Church is holding Rally Sunday, their first day of Sunday school, on Sunday, Sept. 13.
The Wadena UMC offers a preschool class, kindergarten through third grade, a fourth- through seventh-grade "tween" class and an adult discussion group all starting at 9 a.m. A high school youth group will start in October.
Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. (the children will play special music with handbells) and a tailgate party with hamburgers, hot dogs and the fixings will be served up after worship. The church is at 23 Dayton Ave. SE, Wadena. For more information, call (218) 631-3412.
