Public is invited to retirement celebration for Lakewood Health's president and CEO

STAPLES — The public is invited to a retirement celebration for Tim Rice, president and CEO of Lakewood Health System. The three-hour social event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Timbers Event Center (1220 2nd Ave. NE, Staples).
Desserts will be served throughout the event and there will be a program at 2 p.m. No RSVPs are required, and all are welcome to attend, according to a Lakewood Health System's news release.
Rice is retiring from Lakewood after over 42 years of service. He started as Lakewood’s hospital administrator in 1980, after moving to the Staples area from Olivia, Minn.
Rice and his wife, Lynn, reside in the Motley area.
