Historical Society presents Minnesota Voices April 28

Voices from the area have submitted their poems for consideration for publication.

WADENA — The annual invitational poetry event called Minnesota Voices in celebration of National Poetry Month is now in its fifth year in Wadena County.
This year, the Wadena County Historical Society received 70 poems from 46 participants.  A  few of them will be on hand to read their selections at a Zoom meeting from noon to 1 p.m., April 28.
The poems will also be published in a booklet by the Wadena County Historical Society later this Spring. Beginning in May, selected poems will be featured on the Poetry Walk at Green Island. For more information call the Wadena County Historical Society at 218 631-9079 or email  603wchs@arvig.net.
