Hewitt Historical Society to host annual meeting Sept. 10

HEWITT — The Hewitt Historical Society invites all to their Annual Meeting Saturday, Sept. 10 for dessert, movies and a “silent election” for HHS Board positions starting at 6:30 pm at the Hewitt Community Center (located next to the Museum). Fresh Hewitt apple pie, almost healthy cookies and Dr. Lawrence Denny’s documentary films featuring; Ethelyn Pearson and Gen Aldrich are on the menu.
The group also plans to honor the years of service given to the community and organization by honorary board members Jim Walker and Alice Melzer.
