As a way to celebrate and thank financial worker Carol Heltemes for her 31 years of service, co-workers, friends and previous co-workers drove through the Wadena County Human Services parking lot. Participants decorated their cars with signs of congratulations and retirement jokes, such as "Bye, bye tension hello pension."

2/3: While the wind tried to blow posters away, co-workers and friends shared how they will miss Heltemes and one woman said, "She's a kick."
3/3: In front of the Human Services building, co-workers added cones with balloons and waved signs while collecting cards in a box and joking with one another as everyone enjoyed the time. After 31 years of service, Heltemes was all smiles and laughs during the parade.
