Get ready to garden: Garden Day is May 25 in Wadena
The Sustainable Farming Association (SFA) Central Chapter is partnering on a "Garden Day" with Union Creek Organic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., May 25, at Union Creek, 706 Ash Ave NW.
Local food including brats, hot-dogs, burgers, chops and salads will be served for a freewill donation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A plant and seed swap, including the trading of planters, tools and offered services will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.
Corn hole in addition to a corn pit for young children will be onsite, experience a raised bed demo and make sure to participate in the book exchange table by bringing your favorite periodicals to trade.
There is no charge to attend or be a vendor at Garden Day, but vendors are asked to RSVP by contacting Michael Dagen at email@example.com. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors at Union Creek.
