The Parkinson's Disease Support Group will meet on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 1:30 p.m. in the dining room at Edgewood Vista, 14211 Firewood Drive, Baxter. There will be a group discussion time. The Battle Lake Economic Development Authority (EDA) will be holding their annual meeting from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Shoreline Restaurant, 505 N Lake Ave. in Battle Lake. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Network Battle Lake meeting. Staff from West Central Initiative (WCI) will join the group to present "The Future of Retail" and "Downtown after 5" and they will provide information on programs WCI has available.

"Parents Who Have Lost A Child" support group meets the second Monday of the month from 5:30 — 7 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The confidential support group provides a safe place for those who have experienced this type of loss to find support, share their story and learn ways to cope.
