Wadena Area Community band performs spring concert March 20
The Wadena Area Community band presents Spring Fling, a concert of musical spring anticipation Sunday, March 20.
The concert starts at 3 p.m. at the Wadena-Deer Creek Middle/High School commons. There is no admission charge.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Five Wings Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Adult dance lessons offered at Cultural Center

The Cultural Center in New York Mills is offering basic east coast swing dance lessons for Couples taught by instructors Jewett and Barbara Benson, who have been teaching dance for over 15 years.
The Bensons will teach three evenings of basic dance on Thursdays, March 24, 31 and April 7 at the Cultural Center in New York Mills. These classes, which will be held in the Cultural Center's main gallery, will be 1.75 hours each starting at 7 p.m. on each of the three Thursday nights. The cost is $90 per couple and Cultural Center members will receive a $5 discount. Reservations are required by March 17.
