White to present "Woman's Work" Aug. 9
On Sunday, Aug. 9 at 2 p.m. actress Pippa White will present "Woman's Work" at the Wadena Depot as part of the closing reception for the traveling exhibit, "Minnesota Homefront". From our immigrant pioneer grandmothers, to Rosie the Riveter and the factory workers of World War II, to the present-day women of the work force, Pippa White's one-woman show is part theatre, part storytelling, part history and totally captivating. This free event is presented by the Wadena County Historical Society.
