DEER CREEK — With their biggest fundraiser back, the Deer Creek Fire Department hosted a dedicated crowd of bingo players.

The prizes, besides loads of popcorn, drinks and gathering with friends, included 76 hams. The fundraiser helps support fire department projects and equipment needs.

The bingo fundraiser is also paired with a raffle. The fire department had the raffle drawing in 2020 and no bingo event. Firefighters said it was hard the last two years without the bingo event.

The Wadena and Deer Creek fire departments are mutual aid partners.
