  • Wadena Area Concert Association presents 'How Sweet It Is' at 7:30 p.m. at the Memorial Auditorium. Nashville-based Steve Leslie is an awarded singer/songwriter/guitarist.
  • Candidate Forum at Verndale Community Center hosted by Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative. Social starts at 6:30 p.m. and forum at 7 p.m. All state and federal candidates are invited.

Sunday, Sept. 11
Cheryl Steinborn and Terry Greenawalt, pianists at Hubbard United Methodist Church, will present an encore piano duet concert at the church at 2 p.m. While the concert is open to the public at no charge, a free will offering will be taken to benefit the various mission programs supported by the church's United Women of Faith organization.
