The Jack and Alvida Browne Family Foundation donated $5,000 towards the construction of a splash pad for the outdoor water park in Wadena, according to a Wadena State Bank news release.
The splash pad opened on June 16 and is expected to close for the season in mid-September along with the wading pool at Fink Park. It is located on 7th St. SW, directly west of the M State property grounds.
