A spaghetti benefit dinner will be held for Robert "Bobby" Anderson from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1 at the Verndale Civic Center.
Anderson is a lifelong member of the Verndale community and a Verndale School bus driver. He spent six weeks in he hospital for an infection that resulted in the removal of most of his small intestines. He underwent four surgeries during that time.
The event is sponsored by the Verndale Fire Department, the Verndale Lions and the Verndale Lionesses.
