Longtime firearm safety instructors James Seelhammer and Lance Wohlwend were presented awards for the continuing teaching and dedication to our area youth safety for 40 years.
Conservation Officer Tricia Plautz presented awards Monday, April 25, during a Firearms Safety class to the men for their service in the Deer Creek area. Wohlwend and Seelhammer have displayed dedication and commitment to area youth in teaching the safe handling of firearms, ethical hunting, respect, and laws related to hunting in Minnesota, according to Plautz.
