Speer Chiropractic has officially closed its doors in Wadena. Their final day of operation was on April 30. Customers looking to enter the building were greeted with a farewell sign posted on the door. The sign indicated the reason for closing and served as a thank you to the community that utilized his services.

"With such a great need in the area for a quality chiropractor and the pleasure I have had working with such an amazing group of patients, making this choice has been one of the most difficult decisions of my life," wrote Brett Speer on his address to Wadena patients. The note explains that Speer will continue his work at the Little Falls office and all of his Wadena patients are welcome to continue receiving care through his practice, they'll just have to drive a bit further.

Speer described the closure as being a very frustrating decision. He had worked to build up a good patient base but ultimately had to shut down because of staffing problems. "The simple answer is that I can only be in one place at one time," responded Speer. His initial goal with the practice was to find a doctor to primarily service that location, unfortunately that didn't happen.

"The biggest thing I will miss about the Wadena practice are the people," said Speer. For now Speer will be conducting his chiropractic business in Little Falls located at 114 1st St NE.
