A father in Georgia who had prepared to donate a kidney to his 2-year-old son said last week that he is being forced to wait after a recent stint in county jail. Anthony Dickerson's son, A.J., was born without kidneys and Dickerson, who is a perfect match, was ready to donate one of his, he told NBC affiliate WXIA. He was arrested days before the planned transplant but released from Gwinnett County Jail this month to undergo surgery. Now, he said, the transplant center at Emory University Hospital has put it on hold - in a case that one expert called befuddling.
The honey bees had taken up residence inside the walls of the house. A homeowner in Hillside, New Jersey, near Newark, told CBS New York it was "really noisy" with honey bees "humming and huddled up together." But he had no idea just how many bees had been lurking behind those walls. In fact, there were about 30,000 of them - and about 40 pounds of honey, according to a beekeeper who was called to remove them. Video showed the moments after the beekeeper opened one of the walls last month. "This is insane," Mickey Hegedus said in the video.

He was 66. Petty's death was confirmed by Tony Dimitriades, longtime manager of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, on behalf of the family.
