A kiosk is a small, cylindrical structure that stands at an intersection of walkways or sidewalks or on the street, used to post advertisements and announcements of events. The STS crew also built the kiosk.

A tree planting ceremony, in honor of the late Dick Bentrup, was held 10 a.m. Friday, May 4 at M State - Wadena. His wife Lin Bentrup, left, and campus provost Dr. Peter Wielinski dig a hole for the red maple. Wielinski said Bentrup was an advocate for M State and vocational education, and he represented the Wadena campus in the 1990s, during the merger of several community and technical colleges.

Bob Zosel,left, Mike Pete, Diane Anderson and Ron Buchholz plant a hybrid elm at BN Park Thursday as part of a Wadena Parks Foundation effort to re-forest Wadena. The four park advisory board members also planted honey locust and burr oak trees. All of the trees were purchased from Pete's Nursery in Wadena.
