Fourth Graders at Wadena-Deer Creek Elementary School, including Joshua Tabery, had the opportunity to learn CPR and tour an ambulance when Tri-County Hospital made a visit to their classrooms. This project is an annual event for students in their Science Curriculum. Most will never see the inside of an ambulance and this gives them the opportunity to get many questions answered by trained professionals.

Jayne Johnson's (far left) preschool class of 3- and 4-year-olds was outdoors Wednesday enjoying the sunshine and the playground at the former St. Ann's School, where the preschool, ECFE and Head Start have been housed for the last two years since the June 17, 2010 tornado. WDC Early Childhood programs are planning a program to thank St. Ann's on May 10.
