Roland and Karol Thomford were awarded Yard of the Month for September from the Wadena Garden Club. Roland Thomford said the nomination was a surprise. The Thomfords' yard has a garden, many different flower pots, statues and hanging lights. The Thomfords said they have had their yard this way for quite a while but add onto it all the time. They live on 1108 Madison Ave SW.
