Gary Richter, who farms nine miles south of Wadena, has been hosting a large number of four-legged guests this year. Richter estimated that between 100 and 200 whitetail deer have been regular visitors. They have been cleaning up the remnants of his corn and soybean piles. Richter contacted a conservation officer about the problem and was told the deer have been having trouble getting through the snowpack. Submitted photo
