Goeden, Janson compete in rain-shortened finals

Jacob Goeden fired a 43 and Wesley Janson carded a 47 Monday during the rain-shortened nine-hole Mid-Minn Tournament finals on Cragun’s Legacy course.

Kyle Quast of Staples-Motley took medalist honors with a 39. The Cardinals won the team title with a 203.

Goeden paces WDC effort at Whitetail

Jacob Goeden’s 87 was the strongest round turned in by the Wolverines Saturday during the WDC Invite at Whitetail Run.

Staples-Motley’s Andrew Israelson shot a 70 for medalist honors and helped the Cardinals earn first place with a 302.

The Wolverines got a 91 from Wesley Janson and saw Adam Lund shoot a 100, Matthew Quincer turn in a 105, Jack Goeden shoot a 109 and  Thomas Quincer card a 111.

The Wolverines were fifth in the boys’ competition with a 383 and second in co-ed competition with a 753.
