Wolverines finish fifth at Ruttger's Bay

Paige Hartman's 95 led the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines Tuesday as they placed fifth in the eight-team Crosby-Ironton Invitational at Ruttger's Bay.

Breanna Speed, Amanda Kramer and Kaitlin Warren brought in rounds of 105, 109 and 121 for the Wolverines who posted a team score of 430.

Staples-Motley standout Emily Israelson took medalist honors wih a 79.

Speed, Hartman pace Wolverines at Whitetail

Brenna Speed shot a 94 and Paige Hartman carded a 98 Thursday as the Wolverines placed 10th in the Wadena-Deer Creek Invitational at Whitetail Run.

Hope Theisen, Amanda Kramer, Gabi Ross, Ella Harrison and Heather Theisen rounded out WDC's scoring with rounds of 101, 105, 108, 110 and 113.

The Wolverines brought in a 398 team round. Detroit Lakes earned top honors with a 317. Katie Smith led the Lakers with a medalist round of 71.

Highlighting the meet was a hole-in-one by Jenny Meusing of Brainerd on No. 3.
