The Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Raiders dominated the upper weights and claimed five victories by forfeit Thursday in a 47-29 dual victory over Wadena-Deer Creek.

The Raiders won four of the last five matches as Nick Bennett, Dillon Card, John French and Hunter Truax racked up 23 points to WDC's three.

The Wolverines claimed four of the first six matches with Tristin Godel, Sam Waln, Devin Barthel and Josh Lawson notching victories that gave WDC a 20-12 advantage.

Two state-ranked wrestlers, WDC's Mitch Steffens and BHV's Colin Turchin, did not compete.
